LOSSIRANTA TAVIS
Lossiranta Tavis is situated in peaceful and tranquil Kalkkiuuninniemi in old Savonlinna close to Olavinlinna Fortress Castle. Spacious, bright rooms have been renovated sustainably. The building itself has been rendered by hand.
The authentic yard opens to Lake Saimaa and towards Olavinlinna Fortress Castle. The surrounding gardens has comfortable and inviting seating areas. There are free parking spaces next to the hotel. The old garden building houses two rooms, one with sauna, only for summertime use.
Back in the 15th century the Kalkkuinniemi area was used to source materials such as limestone to build Olavinlinna Fortress Castle. There was also a limekiln. The house that resembes a little bit of Pippi Longstockings house Villa Villekulla, was originally built in 1915 to house 5 families. After renovations part of the house is now a small boutique hotel.

Buffet breakfast is served at cosy Lettutupa. Weather permitting, breakfast can also be enjoyed in the garden.
Lettutupa also doubles as a perfect and idyllic setting for private meetings as well as memorable small gatherings and parties of all kinds.
